Brady was told today that he will for sure have an EOD job in Air Force next month, unless a programming job opens up. So either way he has a job next month! We guesstimate that he will leave for basic training at the earliest in December and the latest February. It is soooooo good to have something decided. Until he actually signs for (not sure that is the right term but good enough) the job we won't know when he reports for basic and all that fun stuff. But YAY for knowing something!
In family news, Rory is climbing on everything and is finally learning how to go down the stairs backwards. She is also walking from the couch to the coffee table and from the coffee table to the couch unassisted. She will walk back and forth between Brady and I a lot as well, but she won't do it full time yet. I can't wait for her to walk. My life outside our house will be SOOOO much easier when she does. Plus she will look so cute since she is so little.

Cadence has started chores for allowance. Yup! It all started with a sparkly pink pony at Target. It was $12.95 and she wanted it really bad. Talked about it for days and days. So I told her that if she would pick five chores to put on her chart (got it at Target for her for Christmas) and she did them every day she could get a quarter per job per day. I figured that she wouldn't do ALL the chores EVERY day so I was looking at like 50 cents a day or something. Nope this girl is MOTIVATED to get that PONY. She checks the chart and puts up a marker every time she does a chore. Her chores are: Pick up Toys, Brush Teeth (she has to try and brush them herself at least twice a day), Take a Bath (she has started doing most of the washing herself) Help out Mommy with a daily big chore, and to Set the Table for dinner. If she can do all these for a month and be consistent we will add one or two more. We started with things that we wanted her to make habits out of and so far it is working! She has always been a "helper" but now she is really excited to help. She has a money jar (she as piggy banks but they are a PAIN to get into and this girl likes me to count her "monies" daily) and she keeps it up on a shelf in her room so "Rory and Daddy can't take it." She is so funny sometimes.

That is what's new with us! I hope you guys are all doing great!
