Last Days for Apircots!!!

Hey everyone! It's the last days for picking Apricots at the Glicrease Orchards here in Vegas! They are super ripe and are soooo yummy! Any of you who jar or like freezer jam and jellies the apricots are perfect for those right now! You get into the Orchard free (if you don't bring your car in...it's $3 per car) and Apricots are $1 a pound! My mom, Cady and I picked 79lbs yesterday and have already made a TON of jarred and freezer jam and I am going back to her house today to make more. Anyone who wants some Jars of Amazing homemade Apricot jam and don't want to do it yourself, I will have some for sale starting today. I will get prices up later today! :o)

The Gilcrease Orchards here in Vegas are trying to get back up on their feet after some very bad managing the last few years. They are open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings and they will give you a list of everything that is ready for picking and their prices when you get there! They will also provide bags or boxes for what ever you are picking. They are located on Tenaya and Whispering Sands (between Racel and Elkhorn). So get out there! They encourage consumption while picking as well so kids can eat their fill! :o) Have fun!
