Thankfully Rory didn't need any shots this visit, though the did need to poke her toe and check her iron levels. She was boarder line low, but the Dr recommended that we give her more table foods that have iron instead of a supplement (thank heavens!). That will be easy since Rory eats everything you giver her to try. The girl even likes grapefruit! She loves her greens and meat too, so getting more iron in her system shouldn't be a problem. Rory was trooper about getting her toe poked. She just kind of watched with a pout on her face and then spent the better part of 10 minutes trying to get the Band-Aids off. She succeeded and held them up for my
inspection. :o) She chattered at the Dr and held really still while she listened to everything and check her ears. Rory is getting more teeth (joy of joys). The Dr counted 4 more that look like they are trying to come in. So fun! I knew something was up since she is drooling like a puppy and biting everyone.
In the end she got a clean bill of health, though they wanted to check her iron again at a year. It's amazing to think that in three short months Rory will be one! I better get started on planning a party!

So funny... I was all geared up for a screaming child at Zack's 9 month when he got his foot poked, but he didn't even make a sound. Just stared at his foot. Gotta love that! Aiden scolded the nurse when she poked Zack at his 1 year appointment. That was hilarious too!
Too cute! I love her eyes!
